Comparar cosas: más/menos… que, tan… como, el/la más…
Explicación
Comparativos de desigualdad
• más + adjetivo/sustantivo + que → «Ana es más alta que Luis.» • menos + adjetivo/sustantivo + que → «Este café tiene menos azúcar que el otro.»
Ante un número, «que» se sustituye por «de»: «Tengo más de veinte libros.»
Comparativos de igualdad
• tan + adjetivo/adverbio + como → «Ella es tan inteligente como su hermano.» • tanto/a/os/as + sustantivo + como → «Tengo tantos amigos como tú.» • verbo + tanto como → «Trabajo tanto como él.»
Superlativos
• el / la / los / las + más (o menos) + adjetivo (+ de …) → «Es la ciudad más grande de Europa.» • Superlativo absoluto con -ísimo/a: «grande → grandísimo», «rápido → rapidísimo».
Formas irregulares
Cuatro adjetivos tienen comparativo/superlativo irregulares (no llevan «más»):
