El truco WEIRDO
En cláusulas con «que», el subjuntivo aparece cuando el verbo principal expresa una de estas ideas (siglas en inglés WEIRDO):
• W — Wishes: querer, desear, esperar (Quiero que vengas.) • E — Emotions: alegrarse, sentir, temer (Me alegro de que estés aquí.) • I — Impersonal expressions: es importante que…, es posible que… • R — Recommendations: recomendar, sugerir, pedir (Te recomiendo que descanses.) • D — Doubt / denial: dudar, no creer, no es verdad (Dudo que lo sepa.) • O — Ojalá y «que» exhortativo (¡Ojalá gane!)

Ojo con verbos como creer, pensar y decir:
• Creo que viene. (afirmación → indicativo) • No creo que venga. (negación → subjuntivo) • Dijo que venía. (información → indicativo) • Dijo que vengas. (mandato → subjuntivo)
